Building Believers
prides itself on offering year-round basketball events such
as:
Weekend Clinics – These 1 1/2 to 2 hour clinics are
offered year-round to boys and girls of all ages. Basic fundamental
skills are taught during these works. Advance clinics are also
provided based on the need. We prefer to work with small groups
between 20-30 players.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mini Camps – Takes the place
of camps by offering players an opportunity to spend 4-6 hours
in that same day concentrating
on specific areas of need. We prefer to work with small groups
between 20-30 players. Please note that mini-camps can be conducted
on-site or off-site depending on other scheduled events or
staff availability.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summer Camps – Offered to boys and
girls and even co-ed throughout the summer depending on the
needs of the community. We like each of our camps to be small
in size so that each player can receive the attention that
he or she needs. We prefer each of our camps to have between
30-40 players. Campers are asked to bring healthy sack lunches
as well as drinks. Most of our summer camps are conducted Monday
through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Please note
that we begin our camps with a 30 minute devotional, which
we make fun and it does involved some interaction. During our
camps, we teach with patience, as well as encourage children
to “Believe in Themselves.” Please note that our
camps are for kids who want to learn.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Needs – Children who continue to have difficulty
learning the skills that are being taught are encouraged to
consider taking private workouts from our sister organization,
Hoop Hunter Basketball, which focuses on private one-on-one
training. Through this program, kids get an opportunity once
a week for 30 minutes or an hour to receive personal training
in specific areas of need, which we feel impacts how they feel
about themselves. We believe that “Confidence” is
knowing that what you’re being asked to do can be done
without any reservation.
